Fumigation Service
You need to know...
Cleaning and disinfection help to remove pathogens or significantly reduce their load on contaminated surfaces and is an essential first step in any disinfection process. Cleaning with water, soap (or a neutral detergent) and some form of mechanical action (brushing or scrubbing) removes and reduces dirt, debris and other organic matter such as blood, secretions and excretions, but does not kill microorganisms. Organic matter can impede direct contact of a disinfectant to a surface and inactivate the germicidal properties or mode of action of several disinfectants. In addition to the methodology used, the disinfectant concentration and contact time are also critical for effective surface disinfection. Therefore, a chemical disinfectant, should be applied after cleaning to kill any remaining microorganisms.
Our Measures
PRELIMINARY PRECAUTIONS
Under this heading may be listed advance precautions of a more general or permanent nature and also preliminary measures applying specifically to each fumigation job. In any fumigation, large or small, no person should work alone. Because poisonous gases are being used, serious consequences may ensue if a fumigator becomes sick or faint and is unable to finish or control the operation. No matter how small the dosage or the scale of the work, at least one other person should be present in case of emergency.
PRECAUTIONS DURING APPLICATION
In addition to proper respiratory protection, scrupulous care should be taken to ensure that fumigant formulations or liquids do not come into contact with the skin. If clothing or footwear becomes contaminated, it should be removed immediately and affected areas of the skin washed thoroughly with soap and water.
PRECAUTIONS DURING EXPOSURE PERIOD
Every precaution should be taken to avoid exposure to escaping fumigant and to prevent unauthorized entry into treated space. Warning signs that indicate the type of fumigant in use and the date of the treatment should be put in appropriate places. They should be removed after the treatment is completed.
POST-TREATMENT PRECAUTIONS
After adequate aeration of the treated area, gas detection equipment should be used to ascertain that all fumigant has been removed. As the process of desorption can vary greatly with different fumigants, different commodities and different environmental conditions, precautions should be taken to ensure that harmful levels of gas do not subsequently accumulate where personnel could be exposed.

When we send out children to school, be it child care, elementary or high school, we want to know that they are safe on numerous levels including biologically safe. What does that mean. Biologically safe means that the surfaces and equipment or toys our children handle while at school are clean and as germ free as possible.
School Disinfection Program
Our school disinfection program is far superior to just cleaning and spraying some disinfectant. The big problem with any school disinfection program is that once the disinfectant dries, there is no protective ability at all to kill germs that come into contact with that surface, ten minutes later. Our program is comprehensive in that we can decontaminate a space, then terminally disinfect it. That allows the surface to be protected against the survival, and recolonization by numerous infectious organisms or cells.
